Social Worker

Social Worker part time 24 hrsAlliance Health at Marina Bay is a non-profit skilled nursing facility located in Quincy, MA.
We are looking for part time 24 hrs per week Social Worker.
Position Purpose:
Under supervision of the Director of Social Services, will provide social work services and support to residents and their families.
Responsible for the completion of required documentation of psychosocial visits and assessments.
Education required:
Bachelors degree in Social Work or related fieldProfessional licensure required:
Massachusetts LSW, LCSW, or LICSW.
Responsible for annual re-licensure per federal and state regulations.
Applicant must follow yearly CEU requirements.
Long Term Care Social Worker must communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and interdisciplinary team to support the emotional, mental, and clinical well-being of residents.
Experience in long term care social work preferred, as well as knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid, but not required.
