Technology Modernization Communication Specialist, Assistant Vice President

Who we are looking forThe Technology Modernization team is seeking an Assistant Vice President level analyst to assist with communications activities in support of transformation and organizational change management efforts, working collaboratively with the Technology Modernization leadership team.
Guided by the Transformation Management Office, you will partner with Modernization teams on various projects and objectives, connecting with process owners and SMEs to:
Implement and communicate the Technology Modernization strategy and progress utilizing best practices and a variety of channels Help ensure seamless execution of organizational change management related Technology Modernization activities across the Technology organization by applying methodologies, communication planning, training solutions, organizational readiness assessment and stakeholder analyses What you will be responsible forAs part of the Transformation Management Office you will:
Help Technology Modernization better support strategic goals and objectives by:
Understanding new experiences and how they impact managers and employees Determine change impacts and assess their readiness for change Ensure key stakeholders share a common vision and visibly support the change Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for business reviews and roadshows Understand and help in the creation and cascading of the change story, to execute stakeholder engagement and conduct pulse checks Organizational Change and Announcements:
Assist in the development and distribution of communications to inform and engage leaders and employees in the changes and progress of the Technology Modernization program Content Management:
Assist in the development of content, communications and agenda / materials across various media channels to make it easy for employees to navigate and find information Understand and assist in the monitoring of progress of implementation and value capture to help assess effectiveness to enhance communications and training strategies What we valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role Experience developing communications Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written Ability to analyze content and drive actionable communications from progress updates and interviews Knowledge of organizational change management methodologies and practices Excellent ability to collaborate across a variety of stakeholders; experience working with large diverse teams to influence and engage Self-starter with strong organizational and planning skills Strategic and solution driven thinker Challenger mindset, not accepting the status quo Strong interpersonal skills to developing effective relationships Highly organized and comfortable holding teams accountable Education & Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree; advanced degree beneficial 10 years technology communications experience, preferably experience in a complex, financial services corporate setting Demonstrated success with large scale, cross-functional, global change management or transformation initiatives Knowledge of portfolio management, business initiative prioritization as well as program and project management disciplines and methodologies Why this role is important to usThe Technology Modernization program is driving change and improvement that touches many aspects of our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), and is vital to State Street as the key enabler for our business delivering data and insights to our clients.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $132,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified.
If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
