Junior Project Manager - Long Term

A prestigious healthcare company is looking to hire a Junior Project Manager for a long term contract opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity on an exciting long term project!
Key Accountabilities:
Experience managing multiple projects at once
Applies strong functional and application knowledge
Influences stakeholders to understand how the proposed solution (both technical and non-technical aspects) will achieve targeted business results.
Identifies and analyzes options, evaluates viability of proposed solutions, negotiates deliverables and requirements
Identifies and recommends opportunities for improvements and productivity enhancements
Project Management and Implementation:
Establishes, maintains and manages business partner expectations regarding overall program performance
Responsible for scoping, planning, executing projects/programs to ensure work is on schedule, on budget, and meets business needs
Develops a project plan to manage end to end activities and the execution of the project/program
Identifies and manages project dependencies at the program level
Proactively manages changes in project scope, identifies risks and Issues, and devises contingency plans
Adheres to the defined SDLC, ensuring all stages, activities, and reviews are completed in full
Top Skills
BA or BS degree in Systems, IT, Business Management, or related degree preferred or equivalent experience
3+ years of IT Project delivery experience, with demonstrated use of the project management "life cycle," including tools and methodologies.
Strong familiarity with hardware, software, and systems development and engineering product life cycle processes
Possess demonstrated successful program management of software/hardware products from project inception through release and support.
Possess strong expertise or broad knowledge across a spectrum of IT service delivery areas, including release management, SDLC process, development standards and tools, capacity and resource management, and IT reporting.
Non Technical Skills:
Be able to work in a fast paced environment
Be able to adapt quickly to changing priorities
Be able to think on your feet
Have extremely strong verbal and written communication skills

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
