Network Engineer

Managed Service provider located on the Marina in Quincy is searching for a technology professional to join their growing team. The right person will have solid fundamentals with the attitude/ability to quickly expand their skill set and make it to the next level. You will have exposure to a variety of networks and environments ranging from small business to medium level enterprise. This is a small, fun, energetic team with a great company culture, looking to bring on a Level 1-2 technology professional to answer phones, handle general break fixes, and aggressively pursue certifications to bring their skills set to the next level. The right candidate will have exposure to many of the following:
Active Directory
Cisco: Call Manager
Mobile Device Support (Droid, iPhone, BlackBerry)
Exchange Server
File/Print servers
Basic networking knowledge (understanding of switches, routers, and firewalls)
Basic understanding of common protocols such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, NTFS
VMWare
Strong communication with a friendly disposition and solid troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license with access to a vehicle
Comptia, Microsoft, or Citrix certifications a big plus!

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
